Loved hotel really posh without the high price, great location right next to subway and our room looked out onto 9/11 memorial and new world trade centre. Is still a budkng site at the minute but great to see the progress and watch it going on. Very quiet expected to hear lots of noise in our room but that was not the case at all. Stayed for 4 nights and explored the whole city lovely hotel to come back to at night. Highly recommend

    No complaints

Super comfortable, particularly the bed. Great for Lower Manhattan. Loved the bed. Close to transport.

Took some time to collect bags and check out.

    Superb

We loved our stay at Millenium Hilton. The price was very reasonable for Manhattan and the location is great! We got a room upgrade for $25/night and we got a beautiful room on 54th floor with a view of 9/11 Memorial. The hotel is extremely big and very busy and I wonder how they manage to keep it so comfortable and so clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot and we will definitely consider staying at this hotel when we are in NY next time if the price doesn't change.

As I said, the hotel is very busy so don't expect a lot of personal treatment. It was my birthday during our stay and I asked whether they have any special birthday deals - like complimentary wifi or a free room upgrade (which usually works in other hotels) but they just said no and tried to get rid of me quickly as there were 4 other ppl waiting in line for check in. Also one morning we got a little flood in our room bec the toilet was broken so it overflowed - but it was fixed within minutes. None of that disappointed us too much because we loved the price and we loved the location and the view from our 54th floor room was great. But if you are sensitive to things like that you may want to consider other places.

Ugly service. I used one credit card for two room. And every day I had a big trouble because of they could make a payment only for one room and demanded pay cash for another one. They didn't wish to solve a problem and claimed, that my credit card is wrong, despite of my bank said, that card is Ok, and there were no requests for paying for another room at all.

    Location and room is good.

Service is very poor. You never can be sure, that you can take a taxi in time or staff bring bathrobe.

    Superb

Location: Perfect location if you prefer downtown, two steps from Wall Street and Battery Park, across the street from Ground Zero, various subway stations around the building. The view is amazing if you get a higher floor. Noise: I was worried about the noise from the construction site at Ground Zero, but I couldn't hear any of it on the 42 floor. Bed: One of the best beds I ever slept in. All in all: The hotel is perfect for a weekend trip, the room is immaculate, comfortable and well equipped, at Hilton standard. The staff were quite friendly and professional, nothing to complain about. A great stay and I would go there again without hesitation.

15 usd for one day of wifi, I'd expect Hilton to offer wifi as a complementary service these days. So we didn't use the hotel wifi as it was free at the Starbucks next door. The shower was a bit complicated, not used to the shower-head stuck in the wall.

We stayed in a junior suite and had a 180 view of the city. Our room comfortably had space for our boys and privacy for my husband and I. It was spotless, comfortable and beautiful. I most highly recommend it!

Stayed during the weekend when nyc was shut down due to Hurricane Irene. No housekeeping services provided until the 3rd day (I was told no staff). The only thing good was the location. The room view was brilliant.

Lots I didnt like about the hotel. No housekeeping for 3 days. Didnt receive any apology r any note from the management. Only one dining option, and that too was not fully used (despite the city being shut down due to Irene) to serve the guests who were waiting to get dinner. Finally went back to the room and ordered room service. At the check out the front desk was rude (a dark guy name starting with a)... Absolutely no consideration that I was a frustrated guest who paid a lot of money for nothing to stay at a 5-star hotel with no housekeeping. The young lady supervisor however was more understanding. (Truly sorry I cannot remember her name). She was perhaps the only relevant service highlight for me. The bell desk and concierge were also very helpful. Hilton should take full note of this, as they are in a fine location that makes this hotel still worth recommending despite the bad experiences.
